You have most likely arrived here because you need help or information. Please feel free to read through the articles, but if you still need more information on how I can help you or your child, please reach out on the contact form.

Hi there, I’m Natacha. Play Therapist, wife and mother.
I received my BA(Social Work) from the University of Pretoria, and wrote my dissertation “Parenting Styles affecting the behaviour of 5 year olds” for my Masters in Play Therapy through Unisa.
I am a speaker at events and have also been featured in articles for publications.
I have a practice in the East of Pretoria, but can also do Skype consultations.

Upcoming events

I would like to introduce my colleague and good friend Liesl Graham, who is also a Play Therapist, like myself. She will be hosting a support group (Heart and Soul) for parents. An opportunity for you to gain some insight on alternatives and solutions to certain difficulties you may be experiencing with your children or as a parent. It is not very formal but a support system where you can converse with other parents and get some advice from the speaker, for your individual situation. I will be facilitating sessions on "discipline" and "quality family time". Be sure to book soon, as there is limited space available. Have a look at the topics presented and come and join the experience and get the support. You are not alone!

Play Therapy

Play is the child’s natural way of communication and a medium by which to sort out his world and make sense of it. While playing, the child can project his situation, express his feelings and bring it to the surface where he can acknowledge, experience and master it.

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

I’ve written a lot of helpful articles. Have a look through them…
